Representative Bill Post Elected GOP At Large Delegate to National Convention

Representative Post elected GOP Delegate-at-Large with most votes of convention PCPs

 

SALEM – Over the weekend, Representative Bill Post (R-Keizer) was elected as a Delegate-at-Large by nearly 650 Precinct Committee People at the Oregon GOP Convention. Rep Post received the most votes of any of the delegates and drew applause for his goal to attract national attention to Oregon, “I’m more concerned about Oregon. That’s always been my concern. We’ve got to win the House.”

 

Other elected officials chosen as delegates include Senator Thatcher, Representative Barreto and Representative McLane.

 

Rep Post will travel to Cleveland for the national GOP convention, with the goal of assisting to unify the party and to protect the party platform from attacks on life, marriage, the second amendment and taxes.

Rep Post and his wife Colleen have one grown son and live in Keizer with their two dogs, Beamer and Mercedes.
